Background
The report was submitted to the General Assembly in accordance with Assembly resolution
74/133 and Human Rights Council resolution
43/22.
Summary
The report describes the activities undertaken by the Special Rapporteur in fulfilment of the mandate since the previous report to the Assembly by the mandate holder’s predecessor (A/74/162). It also provides an outline of the direction that she Special Rapporteur intends to take for the duration of the mandate, including their approach to and vision of the scope of the mandate and the methods of work that will be developed for its strategic implementation.
